Apparently the video feed of expecting mom April has lasted so long that the sponsorship deal has expired. The original deal had the sponsor just sending food to the Animal Adventure Park in New York, but now April caretakers want cash... and justifiably so. Over 2 billion minutes of viewing have been logged since the video feed went viral, so AAP wants at least $50k from a sponsor. They say 1/3 of the money will go to giraffe conservation and the rest will go to April, her baby, and buddies at the park. Not exactly Super Bowl sponsorship money or available audience, but a good opportunity for someone.
