The Cleveland Indians kept their amazing streak going with a thriller last night (September 14th) at home, getting their 22nd straight win on a walk-off RBI double in the 10th inning by Jay Bruce, after Francisco Lindor tied the game on a clutch double with the Indians down to their last strike in the bottom of the ninth. The 3-2 victory over the Kansas City Royals gave Cleveland the second-longest consecutive wins streak in major league history, breaking the tie they'd reached at 21 straight wins with the 1935 Chicago Cubs. The Indians are now four wins away from the all-time record held by the 1916 New York Giants, who won 26 games in a row.
