Virginia beat Texas Tech 85-77 in overtime last night (April 8th) in Minneapolis to claim the NCAA men's basketball championship, winning the title for first time. Number 3 Texas Tech twice came back from being down 10 points in the game to top-seeded Virginia, and put themselves ahead by three points with just seconds to go. But Virginia's De'Andre Hunter made a game-tying three-point shot with just 12 seconds left in regulation, before the game went into overtime. Virginia's Kyle Guy, who scored 24 points last night, including four three-pointers, was named the Final Four Most Outstanding Player.
