Retired NASCAR driver Dale Earnhardt Jr., his wife Amy and their 15-month-old daughter are okay after being involved in the crash landing of a small plane yesterday (August 15th) in Tennessee, along with two pilots and a dog. The Earnhardts were taken to a hospital after the crash landing and then discharged with just minor injuries, as was also the case with the pilots. Federal Aviation Administration officials said that after the Cessna landed at Elizabethton Municipal Airport yesterday afternoon, it rolled off the end of the runway and caught fire. The 44-year-old Earnhardt is now a TV analyst for NBC.
