A brawl broke out at the end of the basketball game last night between Kansas and Kansas State, taking place in the disabled seating behind Kansas State's basket. Kansas was running out time on their 81-60 win when Silvio De Sousa was stripped of the ball by DaJuan Gordon. Gordon tried to make a basket and De Sousa blocked the shot, sending Gordon sprawling to the ground and then stood over him yelling, leading both benches to clear. At one point in the melee of punches and shoving, De Sousa picked up a stool and held it over his head before Kansas assistant Jerrance Howard grabbed it from him. The teams were finally separated by coaching staffs from both teams, the officials and security at Kansas' Allen Fieldhouse.
No doubt there will be repercussions for both teams
