Minneapolis incident causes protesting in Columbus

As protesting continues for a third day in Minneapolis over the killing of George Floyd,a large group of protestors also gathered in downtown Columbus Thursday night. Throughout the evening, downtown streets filled with protestors and police. Chants of "we can't breathe," "no justice, no peace," and "hands up don't shoot" could also be heard.

The largest crowd gathered at High Street and Broad Street where a large police presence was also on hand and some kind of agent, possibly tear gas, was used multiple times to break up some of the crowds. Protestors have torn trash cans and some mailboxes from their mountings. Glass at bus stops and in some storefronts was broken.
